I did decide to finish these socks.
I still don't like them, personally. However, I have a friend who does. I do think they'd look fun with clogs this summer. Great at least for wearing on the deck.
Rainbow Socks
Yarn: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock, Rainbow, 2 skeins
Needles: US1
Pattern: Crusoe Socks
(I have knit this pattern before
and found it works better for me to use the stranded pattern on a larger needle size over 60 stitches. If you decide to try the pattern, I highly recommend trying to get your top cuff over your ankle before going more than a couple inches.)

These look great! I didn't thinkg rainbow would turn out like that but there you go...

You may not like them but I sure do. Great socks.

I looked at the pattern and can't imagine knitting KPPM at the gauge mentioned in the pattern. Unless I'm thinking of a different Koigu, I'm thinking I'd get at least 8 stitches per inch on size 2.25/US1 needles. I'd be casting on at least 64 stitches.
I'm with you....the knitting is nicely done, but I don't know that I'd wear those colors. :)

Gorgeous! I have 2 skeins of this yarn that I have been swatching for more than a year, trying to find the perfect pattern. These are beautiful :)
