Auditioning Shelter

Because it takes me so long to knit a sweater, I do it very rarely and only after much consideration.

I recently fell in love with Bedford, but before deciding to knit it, I wanted to make sure I really liked the yarn.

[Yes, of course, I know I can substitute yarn! But, why make more work for myself if I don't have to?]

And what better audition than a shawl?

Yarn: Shelter, Sweatshirt, 5 balls (4 plus a titch of the 5th)
Needles: US 9 
Pattern: Terra Shawl
Size: one

* This shawl turned out a lot like the Romney Kerchief. Not that that's a bad thing.

And, yeah... I love the yarn.
