The Boondocks goes Hollywood

I'm not sure how many of you we've subjected to The Boondocks, but those of you that have been exposed and and enjoyed it may be interested to know that there is a now an animated version on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

For those of you that don't know, The Boondocks is a comic strip about a couple of inner-city black kids who are sent to the suburbs to live with their granddad.  Quite a bit of the humor is so far outside of my culture I don't get it at all, but the parts I do get are quite funny.

The show is rated TV-MA, and some of the shows on Adult Swim are fairly off-color (plus it's on at 11PM which I know isn't a good time for most of you) but I'll try to check it out and see if it's any good.

Another Horse Show

This is a little late because I wanted to put pictures...

I had another horse show a couple weeks ago. I got Reserve Champion (yay!) with two 1sts, a 4th, and a 5th. I rode a horse that I like a lot, he's very sweet but delusional- he thinks he's a big dog (demonstrated in my little comic.) and that's the end of this horse show season for me!Yesss. this horse licks people. and we don't know why!

A Wedding Picture

I haven't had the chance to resize the rest of pictures from Elizabeth and Josh's wedding, but here's my favorite of all the pictures I took.

Elizabeth and Josh were married on Saturday at St. Joseph's.  Daniel was baptized there on Sunday morning. He wore Granddaddy's christening gown which is now 100 years old, a real sure 'nough antique. All are well and happy.  We are looking forward to seeing everybody for their reception on December 17.  Pictures later probably by Sarah.  Love to all--Nell
