Crimony. That's a boat load of beets. And I thought it came from sugar cane.

More of it would come from sugar cane if we didn't have the bleeping embargo on Cuba. And when the U.S. sugar companies are through sucking all the water out of the Everglades, I expect we'll have Cuban sugar again. (If you've never read Carl Hiaasen's "Striptease," I highly recommend it.)

But my question is, what about the beet greens? Are they put to any use?
