Every day that I attend an education class, I am more and more impressed by MomBear's restraint.  I do not know how she did not lose her mind and smack one (or several) of her classmates for being too silly to survive on their own.  I am quite certain I will not make it through the semester without doing so.

Nerd Fest '06 and other wanderings

We've been doing a lot of traveling lately. First, in Minnesota, we found

It's actually quite tasty and spicy, but less crispy than how we make it.

Next, we went to Colorado for Nerd Fest '06. Marcus and Peder skiied, and I went to lots of talks... Peder's take on the whole thing: "They wear their pants so high... and they're young! They're our age!"

As a break, we explored town... after two bookstores and a candy shop (almost Christmas Carol-esque) the talks were a lot more tolerable.

I'm glad to be home though.
