We've been debating on this for a couple of days now in my math class: Can time be negative? We spent more than half a class period on that today, and I need opinions from people who know about these things. I'm so glad I've got all these genius relatives :)
Part of the discussion went something like this...
Kid: I guess time could be negative if reality were an illusion.
Me: But if reality is an illusion we're imagining, then why am I at school?
Other kid: Right.
....
Teacher: So do you think there's any easy answer to this?
A few kids are still laughing for no apparent reason. We all laughed a lot, and we don't really know why.
Me: ...42?
Teacher: What? (as we all start laughing again)
Yeah, we really don't have any idea.... can you help me? Thanks
