Directions

Do you need some direction in your life?

If so, do go to Google Maps and ask for directions to anywhere, world wide.

For example, directions from Rochester, MN to Paris, France include

	17.	Turn right at Long Wharf 0.1 mi
	18.	Swim across the Atlantic Ocean 3,462 mi 29 days 0 hours
	...
	19.	Slight right at E05 0.5 mi 2 mins
	20.	At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto E05/Pont Vauban

As someone pointed out on their blog, though, you need to be a quick swimmer!

Oh, and as Mom noted, there is a nice article about Benita Albert on today's Oak Ridger. I think that woman is a superhero. Really.

Cambridge

Dear Mom,

So, as you know, I went to Cambridge. As part of my trip, I got to go into Trinity College.

It was initially funded by King Henry VIII.

The students were so impressed by this, they stole his scepter and gave him a chair leg instead. More recently, he was given a bicycle pump, but was forced to go back to the chair leg.

You may have heard the poem about the clock.

I also went to see the Wren Library.

They have a lot of really old books.

And cool old manuscripts.

But what a lot of people don't know is if you're really good (I'm not sure at what), you get to study in the library.

I think I might have gone into the wrong specialty for that... you?
