Per Laura's request. Nell, you will see that a certain girl really loves the bonnet you sent...so much that her mom had to make coordinates so she could dress up as a friend of the Wilders. Of course, the certain other girl just needs her noble steed.

Time to get out the panda costume. This year I made another one--mostly so I could get this picture out of it.
That's Marcus and one of our friends. They drove with the top down and the panda costumes on down the highway last weekend.

Sooo, marching band in all its insane glory is well into the season. We've got the Yamaha Cup this Saturday, followed by about three more major competitions as well as a couple of little ones.
I'm in that picture (for once!), third from the right (silver trumpet). That's the part of the show where I play so loud my brain melts and runs out my ears. If anyone wants to watch a video there's actually a podcast- just search for BRHS Band in the itunes store.
The best part of it all is that I've survived so far.
