I don't know, I've always regarded daffodils much like I do mockingbirds. Occasionally, they give you pleasure, but mostly they just taunt you.

Our daffodils are up but not out. I keep telling them "go back in there, it's not time yet" but they don't listen...

I think we will have a blossom today. The little "wild" ones frequently bloom in February. Anyway, it will be soon. It always fills me with hope.
