Isn't this cool? She was also featured in Wired Science back in December for the Math Thesis program that she developed. Some people are born to teach; she is clearly one of them.
Wow... she is such a star. Still one of my favorite teachers of all time (Mr. Pickel being some serious competition). I think one of the best things she does is to make being a nerd so cool - that's at least as much a gift as being able to teach calculus.
